Phronesis

First, the mouse is back. I set up traps and this sonic mouse repellent about three weeks ago. Everything is hunky dory then last night I saw the little bastard crawling all over my complete works of Shakespeare and my illustrated Frankenstein. I need to get rid of this issue. I’m going to go with poison and those sticky trap things along with an exterminator (who is currently poking around my apartment looking for mouse ingress areas). 

Second, I’m beyond broke and totally unemployed. This is a situation that sucks. I’m trying to get a job. Whatever.  I keep trying to explain to my grandmother that I don’t need to go anywhere and pick up an application as we no longer live ‘back in the day’ but I promise she doesn’t believe me. Apparently my 20 year old cousin just got her first job through the old “go get an application and fill it out in the break room” and by grandma logic that method should work for me. This cousin just graduated high school. I have an MA. Seriously though if shit gets way dire I’m not above going up to the B&N and putting in an application.

Third, I managed to douse my iPhone in liquid soap then drop it into water. I have no idea what I’m going to do about that one. But I will refrain from reading tweets in the bathroom for a while. 

Fourth, Fabio Capello resigns so England football fans simultaneously crap themselves and begin to believe that only an Englishman can bring their very mediocre football team to European then world glory.
